Welcome to Nar Jewellery. By accessing our website www.narjewellery.com and purchasing our products, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of our Site, including purchasing custom and ready-to-ship jewellery, accessing the diamond API, and browsing collections sourced from thousands of suppliers worldwide.

2. Custom Jewellery and Orders

  • Custom Orders: All custom jewellery is made to order and final sale. Custom pieces are crafted based on the specifications provided by the client and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Order Process: Once an order is confirmed, production begins immediately. Changes or cancellations cannot be made after 24 hours.
  • Production Time: Custom pieces typically take 3-7 weeks for completion, depending on design complexity.

3. Diamond API and Supplier Feed

Nar Jewellery offers access to an extensive selection of diamonds through our diamond API, which aggregates data from thousands of suppliers globally.

  • Live Inventory: Our diamond listings are sourced directly from a live feed of suppliers, providing real-time availability and pricing.
  • Third-Party Listings: Diamonds displayed through the API are not physically stored by Nar Jewellery but remain with the respective suppliers until purchased.
  • Accuracy Disclaimer: While we strive to ensure accurate and up-to-date listings, Nar Jewellery is not responsible for discrepancies in availability, pricing, or grading as this information is directly sourced from third-party suppliers.
  • As-Is Policy: Diamonds purchased through the API are sold As-Is based on the specifications provided by the supplier. Clients are encouraged to review all details and certification carefully before completing their purchase.
  • No Liability for Supplier Changes: Nar Jewellery is not liable for any cancellations, price changes, or item unavailability caused by the supplier after an order is placed. In such cases, clients will be notified, and alternative options will be presented where possible.

4. Pricing and Payments

  • Pricing: All prices are subject to change without prior notice and are reflected in the applicable currency at checkout.
  • Pricing Errors: While we strive for accuracy, Nar Jewellery reserves the right to correct any pricing errors or inaccuracies at any time, even after an order has been placed and payment has been made. If a pricing error is identified, we will notify the client as soon as possible. The client may choose to proceed with the purchase at the corrected price or cancel the order for a full refund.
  • Payments: Full payment is required for custom orders before production begins. We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and approved financing options.
  • Taxes and Duties: Clients are responsible for any applicable taxes, import duties, or fees associated with their purchase.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping Timeframes: Orders are shipped within 1-2 weeks after production. Delivery times vary by location.
  • Lost or Stolen Packages: Nar Jewellery is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once a tracking number is issued. Signature confirmation is required for all shipments.
  • International Shipping: International customers are responsible for any customs fees or delays.

6. Returns and Exchanges

  • Custom Jewellery: Custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Diamond API Orders: Diamonds purchased through the API are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned, except in cases of supplier error or misrepresentation.
  • Ready-to-Ship (Pre-Made) Items:

- Pre-made items may be exchanged or returned within 15 days of delivery if unused and in their original condition.

- A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all pre-made items returned for a refund.

- Exchanges for store credit will not incur a restocking fee.

  • Inspection Upon Delivery: Customers are responsible for inspecting their jewellery upon receipt. Claims regarding defects or discrepancies must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.

7. Repairs and Warranties

  • Manufacturer Warranty: We offer a limited manufacturer warranty covering craftsmanship defects for up to 12 months from the date of purchase. This excludes damage from normal wear, resizing, or unauthorized repairs.
  • Repairs: Repairs not covered under warranty will incur additional fees. Contact us for repair evaluations and quotes.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • No Guarantee of Perfection: Nar Jewellery is not liable for natural imperfections in diamonds or metals that fall within acceptable grading standards.
  • Supplier Liability: Nar Jewellery acts as an intermediary for diamonds sourced via the API and is not responsible for supplier actions, grading discrepancies, or changes in product availability.
  • Liability Cap: Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased product and does not cover indirect or consequential damages.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, images, and content on the Site are the property of Nar Jewellery and may not be copied or reproduced without written consent.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
  • Dispute Process: Disputes will first be addressed through mediation. If unresolved, they may proceed to binding arbitration in Toronto.
